Naughty Fries With Pepper Jack Dipping Sauce

Makes a 1 and a quarter cup of dipping sauce. May easily be doubled. Can be refrigerated for 3-4 days. Reheat on low heat.
Ingredients
  • Sauce:
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature.
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, divided
  • salt, pepper and onion powder, to your taste
  • 1 and a half cup pepper jack cheese, grated
  • Fries:
  • use Baked Parmesan Fries recipe
  • 1 and a half cup pepper jack cheese, grated
  • wing/buffalo sauce to drizzle on top-- as much as you want.
Instructions
  1. Bake fries according to the recipe and instructions from the link above.
  2. Sauce:
  3. In a medium size sauce pan (on medium-high heat), add softened cream cheese, butter and 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream.
  4. Whisk until all blended together.
  5. Add the other 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream.
  6. Continue to whisk until it starts to thicken…but do not let it come to a boil.
  7. Once it is heated up again, the sauce will start to thicken.
  8. Add salt, pepper and onion powder to taste.
  9. Set aside off the burner and add 1 and a half cup of grated pepper jack cheese. Stir until all the cheese is melted.
  10. Serve immediately into dipping bowls.
  11. Fries:
  12. When the fries come out of oven, sprinkle with the remaining 1 and half cups of pepper jack cheese.
  13. Slide the fries back into the oven to melt the cheese for about 2 minutes.
  14. Drizzle on your favorite hot wing or buffalo sauce on top of fries.
  15. Then serve them with the Pepper Jack Dipping Sauce!
