Cookie Dough Vanilla Milk Shake
Author:

Makes one shake. But, there is enough cookie dough to make about 4-5 shakes. Depends upon how much you use in each shake. The unused cookie dough may be refrigerated in an air tight container for up to a week. It may also be stored in the freezer for much longer.
Ingredients
  • Cookie Dough:
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 and 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • For one Shake:
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1/4 cup vanilla flavored milk (or use regular milk with a 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract)
  • 1/4 cup (or more) cookie dough pieces
Instructions
  1. Cookie Dough:
  2. Cream together the butter, sugar and brown sugar.
  3. Combine the flour and vanilla into the mixture.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon of milk.
  5. Mix it until it is all combined.
  6. Stir in 1 and 1/4 cups of mini chocolate chips.
  7. Divide out the cookie dough into tiny bite-size pieces and put onto some parchment or wax paper.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. (For less time, use freezer.)
  9. For one Shake:
  10. Put 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream into a blender.
  11. Add a few (or as many as you want) of cookie dough on the two scoops.
  12. Layer with 2 additional scoops and more cookie dough on the very top.
  13. Add 1/4 cup of vanilla milk and mix until all combined. (You can use more or less milkā€¦this much will make it a medium consistency shake.)
  14. Pour into a medium sized glass and top with some more crumbled pieces of cookie dough.
