Makes one shake. But, there is enough cookie dough to make about 4-5 shakes. Depends upon how much you use in each shake. The unused cookie dough may be refrigerated in an air tight container for up to a week. It may also be stored in the freezer for much longer.
Ingredients
Cookie Dough:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons sugar
3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 and 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
For one Shake:
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup vanilla flavored milk (or use regular milk with a 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract)
1/4 cup (or more) cookie dough pieces
Instructions
Cookie Dough:
Cream together the butter, sugar and brown sugar.
Combine the flour and vanilla into the mixture.
Add 1 tablespoon of milk.
Mix it until it is all combined.
Stir in 1 and 1/4 cups of mini chocolate chips.
Divide out the cookie dough into tiny bite-size pieces and put onto some parchment or wax paper.
Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. (For less time, use freezer.)
For one Shake:
Put 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream into a blender.
Add a few (or as many as you want) of cookie dough on the two scoops.
Layer with 2 additional scoops and more cookie dough on the very top.
Add 1/4 cup of vanilla milk and mix until all combined. (You can use more or less milkā¦this much will make it a medium consistency shake.)
Pour into a medium sized glass and top with some more crumbled pieces of cookie dough.
