Picnic Style Caprese Salad
Makes about 4 cups, enough for 4 servings. Keep in an air tight container for up to 3-4 days.
  • 1 (8 oz.) package pearl size fresh mozzarella
  • 1 (10 oz.) package grape tomatoes, cut in halves
  • 12 large fresh basil leaves, broken in pieces
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 4 (8 oz. size) jars for serving.
  1. Stir in cut tomatoes, drained mozzarella, olive oil, and basil in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Chill before serving.
  4. Optional: serve in 4 individual jars.
