Throwing a Batman themed birthday party for a young boy of any age can be very simple!
Recently, my little E. was requesting a Batman cake for his 6th birthday. So, of course I went ahead with the whole Batman themed concept. Everything was super easy to do. And finding it all in a short enough time was just as easy!
Use a giant peel and stick Batman decal to put on the wall to really show off what kind of party this is! This doubles as a gift for him to put anywhere in his room after the party! (The pom-pom garland is simply a scan of yarn from any craft store.)
Instead of the traditional cupcakes, mini cinnamon rolls were made and topped with Batman Rings for the guests. A Batman candle was used to stand in charge of the cookie dough. The Batman cookie cutter was used to make the perfect sugar cookies.
Then of course, there is THE cake! Holy Batman!
The Batman signal shines above Gotham City into the night! You can trace your favorite Batman symbol onto the fondant to fit the width of the cake. For the buildings, cut the white fondant and spray with silver color mist. Then place onto the cake. The golden stars shining in Gotham City are edible, too!
This theme has been a favorite for decades! And, I wish your next Batman Party to be Bat-tastic!
What are some of the fun things you love to do when throwing a birthday party?

Thanks, Reba! This cake didn’t take me as long to decorate as it did trying to mix the fondant with pure black food coloring! Black can be tricky for sure! Hope you’re enjoying your Tuesday!
