Buffalo sauce just isn’t for chicken wings… it’s for smothering (baked) Naughty Fries, too!
Are you a dipper? If something is dippable, like– Pickles into ranch…mini marshmallows into fudge sauce, then I’m dipping!
So, having fries already layered with melted pepper jack cheese and hot buffalo wing sauce, dip is needed! What better way to mellow down the spiciness of the fries, then to dunk them into a creamy Pepper Jack Dipping Sauce!
Not too long ago, I shared with you the Baked Parmesan Fries. These Naughty Fries are made from using that recipe and just spicing them up.
While the fries are baking for 30 minutes, I’m going to show you how to make this very quick and simple dipping sauce.
In a medium size sauce pan (on medium-high heat), add 4 ounces of softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of butter and 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream. I know, I know… but at least the fries are baked!
Whisk until all of the ingredients are blended together. Then add the other 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream. Continue to whisk until it starts to thicken…but do not let it come to a boil. Once it is heated up again, the sauce will start to thicken.
Once it is at a thickened consistency, add salt, pepper and onion powder to taste.
Set aside off the burner and add 1 and a half cup of grated pepper jack cheese. Stir until all the cheese is melted. Serve immediately into dipping bowls.
When the fries come out of the oven, sprinkle with the remaining 1 and half cups of pepper jack cheese. Slide the fries back into the oven to melt the cheese for about 2 more minutes. Drizzle the fries with your favorite hot wing or buffalo sauce. Then serve them with the Pepper Jack Dipping Sauce!
I hope you enjoy dipping these Naughty Fries into this savory sauce as much as I do!
There are endless ways to eat fries, but how do you like your fries?
- Sauce:
- 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature.
- 2 tablespoons of butter

- salt, pepper and onion powder, to your taste
- 1 and a half cup pepper jack cheese, grated
- Fries:
- use Baked Parmesan Fries recipe
- 1 and a half cup pepper jack cheese, grated
- wing/buffalo sauce to drizzle on top– as much as you want.
- Bake fries according to the recipe and instructions from the link above.
- Sauce:
- In a medium size sauce pan (on medium-high heat), add softened cream cheese, butter and ½ cup of heavy whipping cream.
- Whisk until all blended together.
- Add the other ½ cup of heavy whipping cream.
- Continue to whisk until it starts to thicken…but do not let it come to a boil.
- Once it is heated up again, the sauce will start to thicken.
- Add salt, pepper and onion powder to taste.
- Set aside off the burner and add 1 and a half cup of grated pepper jack cheese. Stir until all the cheese is melted.
- Serve immediately into dipping bowls.
- Fries:
- When the fries come out of oven, sprinkle with the remaining 1 and half cups of pepper jack cheese.
- Slide the fries back into the oven to melt the cheese for about 2 minutes.
- Drizzle on your favorite hot wing or buffalo sauce on top of fries.
- Then serve them with the Pepper Jack Dipping Sauce!
- Enjoy!

Hi Gloria, I’m usually just a dip-them-in catsup kind of person, but this sounds really unique and different. Naughty fries…:) Love it! Pinning!

I, SO agree with you about the catsup! I actually despise it…can’t even stand the smell! (Unless it’s in Frysauce…then I’m all about it! (aka a Utahn thing, catsup and mayo mixed together. When I’m out of town/state, most drive-ups have no clue what I’m talking about with the frysauce. Too funny.)
Thanks for the Pin-love!
I’m crazy about wing sauce!!! I could (and do) pour it on everything! These fries look incredible!
